Butterscotch Ripple

After seven years without guinea pigs, my husband agreed that I could finally get one. I did not know any breeders at the time, so I got her at the pet store. This is why she has a notch in one ear, there were three guinea pigs in a space barely big enough for one. She is agressive to other sows, but very sweet otherwise.

I have a hard time taking pictures of her, she always wants to investigate the camera. I'm not very good at identifying some colours from each other yet, especially cream, buff and gold/orange. I believe she is a chocolate and cream agouti, known as Boston Cream, and white.

Dolce de Leche and Molasses

Sisters, they were lucky to survive when their mother died the day they were born. Dolce de Leche is a lilac roan, and Molasses is technically a roan, but with very little white on her back or sides. Her belly is where it shows. I thought that Peppercorn was their father, but when Dolce had a satin crested baby, I think I was wrong and Amarillo was their father.
